Naturally as accountants we are appreciative and respectful of your privacy. We also appreciate the value of trust. In this regard and keeping it simple; we continue to assure you that your Personal data is treated as strictly confidential.

All said we are obliged to provide the following in relation to the Personal data that you provide through the website, including why we ask for the information, what we do with it and what your choices are.

Basis

Your Personal data is processed on the basis of;

  • Consent of the data subject (more below);
  • Legitimate interest in supplying marketing materials, such as our Quarterly Newsletter (more below);
  • Performance of a contract with the data subject or to take steps to enter into a contract and;
  • Necessity in compliance with a legal obligation such as when dealing with your affairs.

Method

Our website may collect Personal data on contact form(s) that request all the relevant information required to respond to the request or service. The form fields marked as ‘required’ or ‘*’ are necessary to perform the request. All other fields are purely optional with their presence offering a means of providing information relevant to your circumstances.

Contact form

When present, a form may collect your First name, Surname, Email address, Company name, a contact telephone number, the nature of your message and the message itself. You are also made aware of and agree to our Terms of Use and (this) Privacy Policy before submitting this information. We use it to respond to you as appropriate.

Newsletter

When you subscribe to our Quarterly News we may ask for your Email address. We collect this information solely for the purposes of sending it to you. Upon a successful submission you will be sent an email to confirm consent and you may subsequently opt out at any time (see below). When updating your preferences, you may add your First name and Surname so we may address you formally in communications if you so wish.

In providing a Newsletter service (eg. Quarterly News) in either printed or digital form, you do so with consent which can be withdrawn at any time. Every piece of communication sent to you will offer a method of updating your preferences in respect of optional communications and/or other marketing communications that we offer.

Your information

The Personal data will be securely held by all reasonable means and it will not be shared with third parties unless required to do so by law, or as required to perform the services provided. Your Personal data will be retained for the duration of the services to which it applies and in instances of Legal obligation for the period stated. You will always be notified in advance of any additional use of your Personal data with additional consent sought. You may also request details of your Personal data at any time.

Cookies

As with most websites you visit these days you can expect cookies (look it up on Wikipedia). As of the time of writing;

  • Brooks Green’s website does not currently deploy cookies
  • The website does not set analytical or marketing cookies before consent.
  • Google Analytics does (specific details below). We use the data that it provides to determine a number of things such as to better understand our audience and how our website is viewed so we can improve our website.
