The audit function is not an expensive nuisance. It can be used to improve your business.
Apart from certain exceptions (please check with us), companies with annual turnover below £10.2 million and gross assets below £5.1 million no longer require a formal audit. Although you still need to prepare accounts that show a “true and fair view”, the onerous audit requirement is relaxed.
